How can I create a new Offer?
Adding Offers in Bookwize is one of the best ways to promote your direct rates
In order to create a new Offer in, you must
- Visit Choose Rates > Offers and click on Add Offer.
- Add the name of your new offer
- Choose the type of the offer that you prefer and click Next
o Discount offer: Offer a Percentage (%) Discount
o Free Overnights offer: Offer a free night for every x nights of stay
o New Pricelist offer: Create a new pricelist that will be used for this offer
For Discount offer
Choose the room types that you would like to include in the offer and the discount that you want to offer.

For Free Overnights offer
Choose the room types that you want to include in the offer and the number of total nights that one must complete to get one or more free overnights. Also, choose whether you would like to include the Meals and the Supplements in the offer.

For New Pricelist offer
For New Pricelist offer create a new pricelist (it should be an “offer pricelist” - see how you can create it on How can I create a Pricelist) and connect it to the offer.

Choose the Room Types for which you want to activate the offer, as well as the Meal Plans and the Supplements.
As soon as you choose the Room Types and the Rate Rules, scroll down to
- Choose the meal plans that you would like to activate the offer for, as well as the discount percentage that you want to provide (if any)
and click Next to continue.
To set the activation rules of the offer,
- Click on Add Rule and choose the rules of your preference
You can add as many restrictions as you want but have in mind that the more the restrictions the more difficult for the guest to take advantage of the offer. Click Next to continue.
In the next step, add the Title and the Description of your offer.
- Title: Keep the title short and try to include both the main benefits and the main restrictions.
- Description: Add detailed information regarding the offer, the benefits and the restrictions. This information will be included in the detailed description of your offer.
- Abstract: Add a short advertising description of the offer.
Click Next to proceed to the final step.
In order to complete the Offer settings,
- Choose whether you need to Activate the offer or not. You can deactivate it if you don’t want to use the offer currently and you have created it for future use.
- Choose if you want to Publish the offer’s Title, Image and Abstract in the Step 1 of the reservation procedure (available only for Vanilla flavor).
- Create a New Rate Plan in order to highlight the new offer to your potential guests. If not, then the Standard Rate prices will be replaced by the rates of the offer. Bookwize, strongly suggests you to always create new rate plans.
- Choose whether you want to use your global Cancellation and Payment Policies or if you want to set specific policies only for this Rate Plan.
Click Finish to complete the Offer.
If you want to, you can add an image to promote your offer in Step 1. This feature is available only on Vanilla flavor. You must have chosen to Publish the offer.
- Click on the Icon or Drop an image in the image field
- Click on Update
Please note that Bookwize Offers are promoted only in Bookwize and are not pushed to the Channels (in case that you use the Channel Manager functionality). In order to create Offer Rateplans that will be pushed to the Channels contact our Support Team (support@bookwize.com).
