How-To: Add a PDF as a Call to Action Button
In order to add a PDF as a call to action button you will have to follow the steps below:
- On the left side menu, click on the Media category and click on Upload Files.
- On the new window that opens, in the Upload to section, choose the page where you want the file to be assigned. If you don't want to assign it to a specific page, add it to the most relevant one. Then choose the PDF you want to upload and when the upload is finished press DONE.
- Find the newly uploaded PDF inside the Media Page and click on Edit (pencil icon).
- On the new window that opens find the Shortcode and copy it.
- Go to the Pages and choose the page where you want the call to action button to be placed.
- Go to Button url field of the page and paste the shortcode, where you want it to appear.
- You should then change the three dots at the end of the sortcode (marked with red in this example), to the title that you would like your call to action button to have. [media-link id='e7d98663-bc29-4df9-bb01-15a0df11b218' title='...']
