How-To: Add Location Points of Interest

How-To Add Location POIs

  1. Login to the Hotelwize Platform
  2. Navigate to to Settings > Advanced > Taxonomies and create the correct location categories for your Points of Interest. For example "Beaches" and "Museums".
  3. For each Point of Interest (POI) create a new page with page type "Location" (Pages > Add New > Location). Set the correct title, pin location and assign it to a category. These pages are not displayed on the website navigation menu.
  4. The POIs and the Categories that you have created will be shown in the interactive map of your website's Location page (subject to the Canvas features). To create this page (if not already created) navigate to Pages > Add New > Page and choose the Location template in the Attributes section.
