How-To: Apply redirections to my website

If you wish to add redirections to your website you should follow the steps bellow:
  1. Navigate to the Advanced section via the right-side menu within the Hotelwize application and from the drop down click on Redirections.
  2. Click on Add Redirection Rule.
  3. Complete the Request URL field with the previous URL.
  4. On the Target Page field choose the page were the redirection should lead.
  5. If your website has more than one languages, you will see an extra field, the Target Language. There you should choose the language of the redirection page. You will need to create one redirection for every language by putting the URL of each language and choosing the page in the respective language.
  6. If you wish to make a redirection to a URL and not to select a Page, you may click on Advanced Options and on the field Select Target choose the Target URL.
  7. A new field will appear under the name Target URL and there you can type the URL you wish (without the root of the domain). For example, for the page url https://www.myhoteldomain.com/accommodation/ add only the /accommodation/ part..
  8. Once you finish the setup click on Save.
  9. Once you finish adding redirections Publish your website.
