How-To: Use Snapshot feature to launch a previous version of your website
If you publish your website before finishing all your changes, you will either need to wait until everything is complete to publish, or restore an older backup losing all the progress you’ve made.
The Snapshot feature solves this by letting you set a previous version of your site live (from an earlier publish) without discarding the changes you’ve already made in the backend.
How to use the Snapshot feature:
-
Click Publish Website (located in the upper-right corner).
From the list, select the Snapshot you would like to restore and click Restore.
This will restore the live website to the state it was in at that time (the Snapshot's time), without affecting any content change that has been made since then at the backend.
-
Continue working on your edits.
-
Once you are ready, click Publish Website again, but this time choose the Publish Website option to push your latest changes live.
