How-to: Retrieve CVV information for OTA Reservations

To access Card Verification Value (known as CVV or CVC) information for the Channel Manager Reservations, follow the pocedure below within the Staah Max Extranet:

  1. Access the Extranet: Navigate to the Staah Max Extranet platform on https://max2.staah.net/hotels/index.php.
  2. Locate Bookings:  Select the "Bookings" option.
  3. Select Specific Booking: Click on the desired booking. 
  4. Access Credit Card information: Access to credit card details, including the CVV, requires an access key. Upon entering the correct access key, the credit card information will become accessible.
  5. Retrieve CVV: Within the "Card Details" section of the booking, click the "eye" icon to reveal the CVV number.

Retrieval Limits: Upon accessing the CVV, a prompt will indicate the remaining number of permitted retrievals for that specific booking.  Once the retrieval limit is exhausted, a notification will inform the user that no further retrievals are possible.

Data Retention Period: Credit card information, including the CVV, is available for a maximum of 48 hours following the guest's check-out date.

CVV Retrieval Allowance:  The CVV can be retrieved a maximum of two times per booking. Each attempt to view the CVV, regardless of success, counts as one retrieval.

Data Security and Compliance:  Due to stringent data protection regulations and Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance standards, the display does not allow the user to copy any of the credit card information. 

Warning
You can only see the CVV number twice (2 times) and it is available no more than 48 hours after the guest's check-out date, so make sure to view the necessary data on time. After that time, or after accessing the information twice, the data is deleted and cannot be retrieved.
