I want to create a new rateplan in an OTA

You must map it with Bookwize

There are two ways to create a new rateplan in an OTA.

  • you can connect it with a Parent Rateplan in the OTA, or

  • you can get and update its rates directly from Bookwize

Rateplan linked to a Parent Rateplan in the OTA

This is used by many hotels if they want to create multiple discounts for short periods in an OTA and they can simply be linked as discounted Child Rateplans to an existing Rateplan in the channel (which is updated by Bookwize).

E.g. A non-refundable rateplan for Christmas which will be -10% off the Standard Rate.

Rateplan updated directly from Bookwize

This is used usually for permanent pricelists that can either be connected with the Main Pricelist of Bookwize or have a completely intependent New Pricelist.

You need to create the rateplan in the OTA, create the respective pricelist in Bookwize and request from our Support Team to map the Bookwize Pricelist to the OTA Rateplan.

E.g. A permanent non-refundable rateplan which will have intepented rates.

Important: You must always advise Bookwize Support team to map your new rateplan with a pricelist in Bookwize, so as for the availability to be updated properly.

Important: Bookwize updates the prices of the mapped rateplans. The policies of each OTA Rateplan must be updated directly in the OTA's extranet.
