How-To: Send OTP transactional emails from a custom email account

If your website uses Liquid and you would like to change the default email for OTP transactional emails in your loyalty program to a custom one, please follow the steps below:

  1. Contact us at support@hotelwize.com, informing us for the email address you would like to use.

  2. We will provide you with the DNS settings that you need to apply.

  3. Once the settings are applied, log in to the Hotelwize platform.

  4. From the left-side menu, click on Plugins.

  5. Locate the Liquid plugin and click on the Configuration (gear icon).

  6. Scroll to the Loyalty Platform Settings section and enter your chosen email address* in the Transactional Email Sender field.

  7. Click Save, then Publish the website in the live environment.


Notes*Please note that the email address must be active and valid, not just a virtual/temporary one.
