Which is the use of the Snapshot?
The Snaphsot feature is an easy way to filter the results of the Bookwize Business Intelligence reports based on booking dates.
The specific feature is applicable to data analysis based on Check-in or Check-out date. For example, if you want to review your hotel's performance for arrivals on 2020 and the current date is 15th May 2020, then the results that you will see will be for bookings made until 15th May 2020. If you try to compare these results with the ones of the previous year the comparison will not be effective, since you will compare reservations made until 15th May for 2020 with reservations made until 31st December for 2019.
In order to overcome this issue you just need to click on Snapshot while setting your search preference. That way the results shown in your report will be filtered as per the booking date that you will choose (starting from 1st January).
So, if you search on 15th May 2020 for arrivals on 2020 and choose to compare with the previous year using the Snapshot feature, the results that you will see will be for reservations made until from 1st January to 15th May for both years.
